Hello everyone! It’s Beth here today with 4 more cards from the Pond Life collection from the June 2020 Flavor of the Month Kit! This kit is sold out, but the Pond Life paper collection is sold individually. You can see my full process video as well as links to all of the products I used HERE.

For my first card, I wanted to use the cute frog patterned scrap I had left as a focal point (how cute is that paper??). So I took the piece of the green polka dot pattern that I had left and offset it to the left on the front of my white cardbase. I added the cattail pattern scrap and the frog pattern scrap off to the right. I used the “you are toadally awesome” sentiment (my favorite) from the Pond Life stamp set on white cardstock, punched it out with a circle punch and then backed it with a brown cardstock scalloped circle. I ended up punching some small circles out of brown cardstock to act as brown enamel dots to finish off the card.
For my next card, I used the Operation Write Home sketch #55 from the sketch sheet that came with this month’s kit.
I used some of the remaining scraps I had to piece together this card front. I decided to leave a little white boarder around each of the pieces, so I cut them just shy of the measurements listed on this sketch. I like how the white separates the busier patterns. I I used the piece of the sailboat paper I had left as my focal point in the center of the card and backed it with white. I added my sentiment piece with the sailboat and “hope you are doing well” sentiment from the stamp set. Then I finished off this card with some of the yellow daisy flowers and peach enamel dots!

For my third card, I used My Favorite Things sketch #330 as inspiration.
I used the last large piece of patterned paper I had, the striped piece, as my card mat on a turquoise cardbase. I backed the honeycomb strip on white cardstock to help separate it from the busy stripe behind it. Then I stamped the frog onto white card stock and did some basic coloring with my YG03 Copic marker. I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set, “you are full of life”. I backed my froggy on some turqouise cardstock. I used that same color for the strip at the bottom and then a fishtail banner at the top. I also added the last of the peach enamel dots.

I decided I had enough scraps to make one more card! So, I used the Operation Write Home sketch #154 (my favorite sketch for using up scraps!). I had 3 patterned scraps that were big enough to make 1.5 inch squares for the tiles and then I used a scrap of the green cardstock for my fourth piece. I stamped the little frog on that piece and I used the “you are toadally awesome” sentiment again. I backed my tiles on white cardstock and then added it to the green cardbase. I used a scrap strip of that striped pattern to go across the bottom and accented it with my sentiment circle.
The remaining scraps I had, I used on the insides of the cards. And that finished off this collection!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed these cards and found some more ideas to use with your kit.
